Hi,

I have done medical exam in the month of may for Inter company Transfer visa. I have the acknowledgement letter with me. Can I use this for EE? I received ITA in 12th draw.

Please advise.

I think you can. It was recent enough and the results are valid for one year.

My wife used the one when she did for open work permit just check the date cause it has to be done within a year and also check all the items to see if they are the same ones

Just saw this in canadavisa FAQ page,

-----------------
9. Recently, I completed medical examinations for my Canadian Temporary Resident Visa/Work Permit/Study Permit. Must I complete additional medical exams for my Permanent Resident application?

Yes, you will have to undergo an additional medical examination.

Please suggest your views.

CIC says you have to repeat it.

Do I need a medical exam to apply for permanent residence, if I’ve already had one for my permit?

Yes. Even if you had a medical exam previously, all applicants for permanent residence must have a medical exam.

A medical exam is needed to make sure that:

you pose no health risk to the Canadian public and
neither you nor a family member will place too much demand on Canada’s health, education and social systems.

Hi,

I just spoke to the doctor's office (CIC Panel doctor) where I did my medical exam for ICT visa. They said they can not perform medical test twice in a year for the same candidate irrespective of VISA/WP or PR. As per them, the same medical reports is valid for PR. They can do a 2nd test only if they get advice from consulate directly.

Please help. What I should do now?
