Hello,

I have applied for the CAQ recently. Hence, the bank account I used was from November 2015 - 08 MAY 2016.

I am going to extend my study permit next week, let's say Tuesday 07 JUNE.

Can I use the same bank statement that has an ending day to 08 MAY ? Or I have to make a new one up to date ?

The reason I am asking is because now I don't have a good amount of money in my bank statement and I do not want it to appear like I have deposed a huge amount before the submission date. While the bank statement I have currently ( which ends 08 MAY ) has a good amount in the ending day..

Thanks for opinion

Yes you can do that as long as it is no older than 1 month from the day you're applying. It is June 3 today and yours is from May 8 so you have 5 days left

Do you have a source for your information? I don't want to take any risk that would cause a refuse in my application..

It was also mentioned in one of the CIC forms that I read, but I cannot recall which one.
If you're paranoid about it, then just have your bank issue you a new bank statement.
