No it will be the same. unless you meant it is expired and you need to extend, the answer will be until you get another WP

I am a protected person. Need to extend my work permit. Work permit and SIN expire date is same. Since I have to apply for work permit extension earlier, do I need to extend SIN number before work permit or its automatic with work permit?
