Can I update my profile after applying - express entry

Once I submit my application what information am I allowed to update which can improve my score.
I understand IELTS and ECA is mandatory to even submit the application, is this correct?

Once I apply, can I retake IELTS and update my profile with the new score?
What if I get a job?

Profile and application are two different things. I'm assuming you are talking about your profile. An EE profile is not an application.
Before you receive an ITA, you can change your profile however you want. Retake IELTS as many times as you like and update the scores.
When you received an ITA, information in your profile will be recorded in the system. You can still change things when filling out your application but you have to be careful with what you do.
Once you submit your application, nothing can be changed.

Is it recommended to create the profiler at the earliest and then get the credentials validated (within the 60 time period) or only create the profile once all documents are ready. @ContactFront
