Can I travel with Visa and Study Permit that will expire soon, on old passport.

Hi everyone, my situation is kind of tough so I really need you guys advice. My Study Prrmit and Visa will be invalid on March,31. Therefore, is that possible to fly back to Canada from outside a week ( around March 23) before they are becoming invalid? I am waiting for new study permit though it takes so long to be made the final decision. Can I show immigrantion in the border that I am waiting for it.
And the second question is: my Canada visa is on my old passport since I got the new one last year, is there any chance to travel with 2 passports without transfer visa into the new passport. Also I heard there is no way to transfer visa, I just can do apply for the new one. I have been trying to call CiC but never could reached to talk to them.

1. You can enter Canada before visa expiry.
2. Having old passport has no impact on a valid visa. You can travel with both (old and new) passports.

Thanks alot. Do I have to explain or provide them anything? I am more confused on the old passport stuff, just afraid the rule has changed.
