I received my permanent residency card around early March and I noticed that my name was incorrectly placed. My last name contains three of my first names, where there should only be one name. The spelling is correct though. Then I realized my last name was also wrong on my confirmation of permanent residence. I applied for an amendment around beginning of March. Am I allowed to apply for a visa to the US to leave Canada while my records are being worked on? I know I should wait it out but I have to visit the US in July. Does anyone know? Any suggestions would be nice.

Thank you,

Why wouldn't you be able? Do you have any specific reason to ask?

If I apply for a US visa as a Canadian PR, wouldn't I have to place the correct first and last name in my application? I don't have three last names so wouldn't they question why I only have one last name? I'm just wondering if I would get into trouble entering the US and coming back to Canada.
