Can I travel to India with less than 6 months remaining on my work permit and TR

Hi,

I am currently working in Canada and I am planning to travel to India in february next year. My work permit and TRV are expiring in July 1st week. Am I allowed to go out and come back to Canada with around 4 months remaining on my visa? I am planning to get an extension on coming back.

You can travel. The only catch here is. you need to prove the officer at Port of Entry that, you will leave Canada, on your WP expiry
You can convince him telling, your employer is going to initiate WP Extension, if not, he will book the tickets to fly back.

It's not an abnormal situation, it happens to majority, who is on WP,
