Can I travel outside of Canada after submitting my application?

Hi, My husband and I submitted our citizenship application on Feb 5 and we havent received the AOR yet.

Based on our Canadian PR, can we travel outside of Canada lets say to Mexico for tourism during this period? If yes, are we going to loose out on days towards citizenship or will it not any affect on our application? thanks

Once you submit your application, physical presence days accumulated after it does not matter. You are free to go for vacation. Just be prepared for test/oath as it can pop up anytime. This is for your future vacation if any.
