Can I travel internationally while my PR application is in process ?

Hi guys ... I submitted my PR application about 2.5 months ago, since when it's been stuck in the "Review of eligibility: Review in Progress" and "A background check is needed: In Progress" phase .. The Medical Exams "Passed" long ago though ..

I currently reside in the US and plan to take a month long trip to my home country (Pakistan) over the coming winter holidays. Will this trip possibly cause any complications for my PR application ? Also, do I need to inform CIC about this trip in any way ?

You are free to travel as you please during the entire process.

There are no travel restrictions during the express entry processing.

I think when you come back from your trip to US, you should submit a CSE to advise CIC about your additional travel history. Just my 2 cents.

Sure, if you want to be extra careful, you can always inform CIC about it. As far as ai know, it is not required since it does not really impact your application in any way.
