I am new to this forum. I would like to know about designated language tests for CEC class.
Is it possible to submit TOFEL language proof?

I have gone through CIC site but they mentioned CELPIP, IELTS and TEF.

Cheers
Mike.

Thanks for quick response. Which one I can take?

IELTS
CELPIP
TEF ( only for french ).

IELTS or CELPIP, unless you are planning to reside in Quebec

Thanks Johnny.

Finally, I booked IELTS exam because CELPIP is new and can’t trust on that institute because I contacted them to get information about band and other details even though their representative doesn’t know about more details & said that they don't have info for public then what they have :)

You can do the TEF and list your first language as french - you can go to any province with french (not just Quebec).

il est un pays bilinguel... officiellement en tout cas!

If you buy the online training material, there you have all the information. I don't understand your statement that you cant trust the institute, end of the day its the same 4 sections (speaking, reading, writing and listening), no big deal. Many of us have cleared the same exam.

Cheers and goodluck on IELTS!
