Can I submit my Profile as my Passport is valid for another 4 months only?

Hi There!

Can I submit my Profile for ITA as my Passport is valid only for another 4 months? My score is 462 and I am waiting for re-issuance of my New passport. Would the Expiry date or the Validity period holds me in submitting my profile? Or should I wait as I have applied for it 2 weeks ago and awaiting for it to process. This is taking more time than usual. Please suggest.

Better to wait for new passport to come in.
Once they start verifying your application, they make sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months at the time of submission.

Hey! Thanks a lot for your response. Can you please confirm if I can submit my profile to appear in the Pool? I shud receive my New Passport in next 2 weeks. I don't want to delay in my application getting picked.
However, I shall correct & update before submitting for my ITA.

Hi,
You have a very good CRS score and will not have any problem in getting ITA but i would suggest not to risk the further process as it MAY complicate things afterwards. So just wait for new passport and then apply. its just a matter of skipping 1 draw and apply in next.

Meanwhile you can start Preparing all other documents and submit your ITA application as soon as you get ITA to cover up this time.
