I was recently requested to submit my passport and need help with it.
I am an Indian citizen living in India.
My permanent address is Chandigarh, India and I have mentioned the same in my application, and I presume that therefore I have been asked to submit my passport to NDVO.
However, I work in Pune, Maharashtra and had also mentioned it as my temporary address in the LoE as well as in the address history.

- My question is, can I submit my passport at the VFS in Pune? If yes, do I need to inform or request CIC to change my LVO?
- I have seen a couple of replies / threads where I have seen people say that as long as your PPR request is valid, you can submit your passport at any VFS in India. And, that VFS would ultimately send the passport to NDVO, to and fro. Is this true?
