can i submit express application after submitting fsw application

I submitted an application last November as fsw. I have not yet hear from cic. Can I submit an application through the express option as well?

Someone on the forum contacted the CIC call centre about this. They were told, yes you can, but it will not be in the draw if you already have an outstanding application.
