Hello,

I hope you can give me some clarification in this situation:

I'm Chinese and I plan to return home during the winter school break from December 16, 2018 until January 5, 2019.
However, my student visa S1 (multiple entry) is only valid until December 30, 2018.
So, I thought I can still go, but have to return by December 30, 2018.

Is this correct? Or does the end date Dec 30, 2018 mean that I have to leave Canada?

I have received my study permit until July 31, 2020.
My extension application for visa S1 is still in process, I think I will receive a reply by the end of December according to the current processing times. Unfortunately, not soon enough for my trip.

I'd be really glad if you can help me, thank you so much.

I'm looking forward to your replies.

Hi

You can travel to Canada on Dec 30th. TRV validity has nothing to do with status in Canada.
