Can I still enter Canada?

I applied for a visa to study in Canada and got approved in October 2022. Due to circumstances, I changed my admission date to September 2023, the initial admission date was September 2022. My visa will expire in August 2023 and school starts in September 2023. Can I still enter Canada before the visa expires and study?

Should not have an issue if 4-6 weeks before studies begin.

You should really apply for an extension now with your new LOA. If you enter Canada with a study permit that expires before your studies start you could be denied entry. You have time to fix the study permit expiry date now.

I don't have a study permit yet as I am yet to enter Canada. It's just the visa I have and I think extention is only allowed when you are already in canada. Other than that i have to submit a whole new application which I am afraid of being not approved
