Hi
Currently I am a Student in Canada. I have finished one year course in International Business Management. I would like to apply for an MBA program in a university here . The next MBA intake is on May 2013. But since my student visa expires by November 30, 2012, is there anyway i can extend my Visa till MAY 2013. I have applied to the University, But i need to apply for GMAT and this might take time.

If i apply for Work Permit now , i will not be eligible for another work permit after i complete the University. So is there anyway i can remain in Canada as a Student till MAy 2013 without applying for work Permit ?

You can only apply for the post graduate work permit once. If you apply for the post graduate work permit now, you won't be able to apply again after you finish your MBA.

Instead of applying for a work permit, you can change your status to that of a visitor. Visitors are usually given six months in Canada.

Except that the problem will arise if s/he is accept for the MBA, will have to apply outside Canada for a new study permit.
