I think I can help you. You have to apply for TRP just like the same as TRV. Which office gives you TRV will process your TRP.

thank u Amy the only thing i'm confused: for spouse applications u have the choice to send it to either the office representing the country of citizenship OR to the one representing the country of residence (different offices in our case); i am wondering if we do have the same choice for trv/trp too; i don't want to use the office from where we reside (Abu-Dhabi) anymore (we had bad experience in the past); i want to deal only with Amman, the spouse application is there too, so it would make more sense
now all i need to research is if it's possible; or someone can clear my confusion

I don't know the answer for you but you can try Amman. If they say you can not apply there, then you must apply in Abu-Dhabi
