I got an ITA for Canadian PR with a CRS score of 536. In my profile, I had claimed 2 years of foreign work experience (July 2020 – June 2022) from India as a self-employed person.
But now, while preparing documents, I realized I can only fully prove 1 year (July 2020 – July 2021) with proper reference letters and payments.
I checked the CRS calculator again, and even with just 1 year, my score remains 536.
I’m planning to:
Just wanted to confirm—has anyone else done this? Will this be okay as long as I meet all other requirements?
Thanks!

I’m planning to:
- Update my PR application to show only 1 year of foreign experience
- Add a short Letter of Explanation to clarify the change
