Hi guys,
I have a question regarding to if I can quit my job while waiting for PR. I am going through the inland PNP EE stream. Got the medical passed and background check in process recently.
Will it affect my PR application if I quit my job? Should I notify anyone if I did so?
Any ideas?
Thank you for your help!

If your job had anything to do with you getting the PNP nomination - then you shouldn't quit. You need to stay in that job until you have PR to ensure no issues.

The PNP only require one year experience. Nothing specifically mentioned about you have to have a job.

Nothing wrong with quitting your job once you've submitted your application to CIC. You might need to update them of your status though.

The only main concern in doing so is finance. Processing time nowadays is just too variable - some get it in 3 months, some don't even get an update after 10 months....so being unemployed for that long while waiting for PR might give you problems later on.
