Can I pay the Right of Resident fee later?

Can I pay the Right of Resident fee later? or Any benefit if I pay it with application fee?

Please advise.

Might save you a few days if you pay right away, but most people pay when they get RPRF request.

I heard from people that one can just give credit card information and mention that to pay take money from it accordingly, now anyone did it?
