can i make changes to my profile while waiting for the ITA?

Hi All,

I meet the cut off score that was just announced today but realized that one of my answers on the profile needs to be changed?.
The question asks if i have applied to IRCC before which I said No since I thought it is referring to PR application but I do have a study permit so I think i have to change it to yes. I still have not received the ITA email notification so if I make this change now will it affect anything?

don't change now, change it in e-APR once you get ITA.
I did the same.

Thank you! Just to confirm, this question field will not be locked after I get the ITA or I would have to mention it in the LOE?

Your EE forms that you have filled pre-ITA are locked but you get similar questions and forms for e-APR.

You can explain the situation in LOE.

Besides as far as I remember the question in EE profile is asking if you have applied for Express entry before and not asking if you have applied for IRCC, please check again and correct me on this one, if possible copy the question here.

Sure this is the question.....Has XXXXX applied to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada before?

I answered it No but I think it should be yes since I applied for study and work permit before

it should be yes for sure and you also have to provide UCI number from your study / work permit.

This is pre-ITA.. i still did not receive the email for the ITA today so I am not sure if I should make the change now while waiting for the ITA within the 24 hours or just explain it post ITA in the LOE

Hi,

I have 473 points, still waiting for ITA.

My question is, I have already submitted a PR application through SINP(PNP), for which I got the file number recently. Do I have to withdraw it before I proceed further with Express Entry? What you guys suggest, when should I withdraw it?

Hey OP, I just realized that I made the same mistake in my ee application. Are you correcting yours with a LOE in PR application?

You can change anything in your profile to anything you want post-ITA, so long as you still remain eligible and your new answers do not put you below the CRS cut-off at the time of your invitation.
