Can i leave to us for work while my CEC PR application is in progress

Hello ,

I am currently on work permit and i have submitted my CEC PR application on May 27th 2021. I have my work permit valid till September 2021.
Now i want to move to USA for work and with a different employer.

1. Can i leave Canada to USA without affecting my PR application?
2. Do i need to update IRCC about my move to USA? If so how?
3. Do i need to request for any special document if i want to come back to canada after my pr is approved.

Any response is of great help and i really appreciate it!

Yes, you have to update IRCC about your status changes through webform, as indicated on your ITA/AOR letters. Once all covid restrictions are lifted, you should be able to land with your COPR once approved.
