CAN I LEAVE MY HOME COUNTRY 4 MONTHS AFTER GETTING PR?

Hi Guys,

I've got my PR in March 2017. PR Valid till Dec 2017.

Can I leave for Canada after 4 months i.e during mid July 2017? Will there be any negative impact on not landing any sooner?

Please give your input/ opinions.

no, you need to stay for 2 years out of 5 after you get PPR... so as long as you fulfil that obligation you are good to go.

so what you actually mean I think is that you were granted PR in March 2017 and plan to leave your home country to make your initial PR landing in Canada July 2017. As long as your documents are still valid then that is no issue then as previous poster said you need to stay in Canada for at least 2 years out of 5 after you have landed.
