Can I leave Canada while waiting for pnp nomination? Pls help

Hey Guys,
I applied for PNP when I was in implied status and didn't get work permit extension. Is it ok if I leave Canada untill my nomination is decided?

If yes Do I have to inform PNP officers about it?

And Do I have to inform them that I changed my status?

I'm getting visitor status and can't work anymore. My job offer stays of course.
