Can I leave Canada and reenter with PGWP extension?

Hello my PGWP extension under public has been processing for a while now. I am wondering if I could leave Canada for a few months, will I be able to re enter later on?

No the pgwp extension is still under process and for the eta from what I read online I need to have it already processed before leaving right? If i understood correctly, I can't leave without my permit extension being processed?

When does your current pgwp expire? When does your TRV expire? Are you planning on returning before hearing about the PGWP extension?
