Can I leave Canada after having applied for PGWP and then come back soon?

Hello friends,

Can I leave Canada after applying for PGWP and going back to my home country for a visit, then come back to Canada after 2 months? All people around me (including my university's international student office) said that it's better to stay in Canada until I get the PGWP. So anyone who knows if my plan works?

In the said situation, you can enter Canada provided you have;

1. a valid multiple entry visa.
2. Or, you are under implied status and from TRV exempt country.

You must have valid Multiple Canadian visa when you are coming back.

I dif this mistake and still i m in my country ... its been 8 months now... and haven't received my pgwp yet... Also my TRV has expored too
