Can I give my biometric outside of Canada? Urgent please

Hello everyone,

I’m based in Canada with an open work permit. I’ve got my flight booked for the Uk later this month and should be returning back to Canada sometime in August . Is it possible to give my biometrics over there? I mean in the Uk.
Please I need advice, help me if you have done something like this recently or have any idea.
I called IRCC and the agent said yes I can, after all Canada still has no idea of opening biometric till now although the website states DONT and also states you CAN.
I am a bit confused.

I don't see any issue with it. Website just generalized it for masses So thousands of ppl dont rush to other countries to do biometrics, but if you happened to be in a country where bio are open; absolutely!
