No unless you are working full-time and have an OWP. You will need to take out private health insurance.
Does you have any recommendation? I checked the Blue Cross visitors insurance, but it only covers to $150k, it doesn't seem enough to me? When I buy my travel insurance, I buy the ones with $10mil healthcare cover... am I missing something?
Also, when I buy a travel insurance it includes public liability cover, $2mil. Is it common for Canadians to have a public liability cover? I lived in Italy and UK and it is not common for PR to have this.
