Can I find my Sponsorship under my (Sponsors) PR ClientID?

Once our application is in the system, should I see it under my name in ECAS or hers?

Your spouse is the Applicant. so, you have to use your spouse's information only. At this time, you can check using the payment receipt number (does not matter whose name was on the reecipt. It is the number that is above the Payment Receipt Bar Code), your spouses last name, date of birth and country of birth.

Note that, you can only check the status in ECAS once the CIC has put the file in the database (usually that happens when you receive an e-mail or letter regarding stage 1 (sponsor) approval.

I wanted to check that in case they misspell my email, and I get no proper AOR
so was looking for alternative way to check

The consensus around here is that checking by "receipt number" never works. It didn't work for us either. Once you get AOR, you can actually check the status of YOUR 'sponsorship eligibility' using "your" information. Once approved however, then yes you will only be checking using the applicant's information.
