Hello. I have a work permit under the Working Holiday Visa Program, which expires in the end of May. I'm trying to find the way to continue working in Canada. I learned I can't extend my work permit because of under the Working Holiday Visa Program. I have a question. Is it possible that if I have got a temporary resident visa, can I extend my work permit under the temporary resident visa? Do I need a LMO? I also learned a work permit can be issued or extended without a LMO.

I would appriciate if you could help me.
Thanks.

1. You need an employer, an approved LMO and then you can apply for a work permit. The TRV is for entry to Canada, nothing more nothing less.
2. And just where did you learn that you can extend a work permit without a LMO. These cases are few an far between. Spouse of student/worker, approved PNP applicant.
