Hi, guys, I wanted to have another post for this question

I have recently gotten a notification from the visa office that I will be getting my PR soon.

My husband sponsored me to Canada (he's a Canadian citizen) and our case was processed in Abu-Dhabi.

After filing our application, my husband had moved to Abu-Dhabi with me as our family business is here. (he was not working in Canada, and managing his work here)

1) So is it possible for me to enter Canada without him to show landing and then get my PR? It is very hard for him to leave everything so soon and have a visit to Canada

2) If that is not possible, and my husband has to travel with me, can he come back before me ? I mean I will stay there until I get my PR card...however, he will come back within a week or two...is this possible?

3) I forgot which point of entry we mentioned in our application... I mean the city and province we want to enter Canada from...so what should I do now?

Is it neccessary to enter Canada from that same location?

Please help me if anyyyone has the answer...
Thanks soo much! :) :)

Your husband does not have to be with you when you land, nor does he have to be in Canada, since he is a citizen. However, you are supposed to re-establish in Canada soon-ish once you have PR. Although I don't think they track it at all. But technically, you are supposed to.

[size=10pt][size=10pt]thank you soo much for the reply...but what about the point of entry?

Do I have to enter Canada from the same location I mentioned in my application?

I wrote Ontario, but now I want to move to Edmonton...will that be a problem?

If yes, can I show entry from Ontario and then move to Edmonton right away? (or does my PR card need to arrive in an address in Ontario) ???

Please help ???

No - this won't be a problem. You can move to Edmonton.
