Hi,

Can we Apply for CEC if my job title is "IT Service Desk Analyst" under the NOC Skill code : 2282 User support technicians.

Job Responsibilities :

Installation and support of computer hardware, software and peripherals.
Front-line and back office server and workstation support for multiple small, medium, and enterprise level customers.

Please guide me,

yes, you are eligible....but you should mention your duties very detailed,, dont copy the following as is,,, Instead try to pick the keywords and make your own sentences.

As i dialy deal with the help desk analysts at my work place....I am pretty sure the following are the resposibilities...


User support technicians perform some or all of the following duties:
1.Communicate electronically and in person with computer users experiencing difficulties to determine and document problems experienced
2.Consult user guides, technical manuals and other documents to research and implement solutions
3.Emulate or reproduce technical problems encountered by users
4.Provide advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties
5.Provide business systems, network and Internet support to users in response to identified difficulties
6.Collect, organize and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other analysts

Seniors need a confirmation if this is true as I too fall in this category. Can I apply under 2147 Computer engineer
