I am in Quebec doing a Master. The deadline to drop a course without mention of fail on my transcript is March 12.
a- Will I have problems with immigration if I drop a course that I am going to fail?
b- Can I work during summer if I drop the course?

Please help.
Thanks.

Dropping a course is no issue as long as you remain a full time student after you drop the course and dropping the course don't lead you to becoming part time due to your new course load.

Also to add on see if this course is prerequisite for any future course and figure out how you are going to make it up and how it affects your overall program completion.

Immigration doesnt care about dropped courses as long as you are able to maintain full time status.
