Can I drive with my current License?

I am a landed immigrant. I landed in 2018 and I have my PR. But after landing, I left Canada after just 11 days.
Now I intend to move and settle in Ottawa. I will arrive in Montreal airport and I plan to rent a car to drive to Ottawa (my rented flat).
My question is: can I drive with my current driving licence (from my home country) just for the day of my arrival? because I will quarantine for 14 days.

Well obviously you need to check with the rental company the licence requirements.

See here for how long you can drive in Ontario before getting an Ontario licence, I doubt the 11 days counts for anything as you did not take up residence. Note generally advisable to have an international drive permit as well as your country licence
