Can I do the landing and return back to home country in a week ??

My CoPR is expiring in first week of May 2017. I am planning to land in March 2017 for a short period and return my home country. I will get my PR card mailed to my relative and get it delivered to me. Is there anything wrong with that plan? Can i do that?

Yes - you can do that. No issues.

You should be able to do landing and return back to your country on same day without stepping out of airport.
