I am a Canadian Citizen.

I am sponsoring my wife under the family class and we will apply for permanent residence under the family class.

We will be travelling to Canada this summer to visit my folks for about 6 weeks and are worried that we will receive the BIL while we are in Canada visiting my parents .

If we receive the letter does anyone know if we can get her Biometrics done in Canada or does she have to do them in her country?

You cannot get biometrics done in Canada.

You can do them in other countries outside Canada.

Canada does not have biometrics collection points, except for very rare circumstances. Spousal sponsorship is not one of the rare circumstances.

Thank you that is good to know.

Only advice would be to not try crossing into the US for the sole purpose of biometrics given USCBP have a habit of refusing entry.
