Hello, my name is Eugenio, and I'm 24 years old. I'm Spanish citizen.

I will go to Canada for study english for 5 months. I have a far relative that will receive me in Canada, and I will live in his house. And I sponsored by family.

Recently, embassy of Canada refused study permit, because they not satisfied for these reasons:
Current employment situation,
Employment prospects in country of residence.
and other aspects about my current employment situation

Sometimes I work as freelancer (shelf-employer), sometimes no, and I just started 2 months ago.
I put in (refused) form of study permit (IMM 1294) that I'm employed as freelancer. And I finished some weeks ago, after study permit application. In study permit application, the employment section is a little part, and I wrote that I started work as freelancer for one person, to undefined time. But now, I have finished this work.

I fill out eTA yesterday
Do I write in eTA that I'm working now or I'm unemployed? I wrote that I'm unemployed (but in student refused permit no) because it doesn't freelance option. Do you recommend write to eTA section of government ( https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx ) for cancel current eTA (in consideration), explaining my situation and change employment information? Or better is waiting when they accepting and try to prove to the officer that I will go to Canada only for study english? Or the last option, fill out a new eTA after these eTA has been accepting?

Thank you, and sorry for my bad level of english, I hope, you understood me.

Maybe a stupid question but as a European / Spanish citizen if you want to learn English what is stopping you from going to the UK to learn English , why Canada.
