Can i convert from V-1 TRV to W-1 if visitor is valid

Hi guys,
I heard for foreign workers, they need W-1 on their passport to travel now to canada.
Is it possible to submit and get application approved for W-1 TRV even though my visit visa V-1 is valid. I never had to apply for W-1 after pgwp. Thanks alot! Stressed

Your question is a bit confusing. Right now you cannot travel to Canada on a TRV as a tourist since this is classified as non-essential travel. If you can obtain a work permit, then you would be able to travel. Do you qualify for a work permit?

hey. I have a work permit letter but on my passport the stamp is visitor visa.
