Can i come back before my work permit expires?

Hello all,
I have a query that i have got work permit till may and i might need to go to India for 2 weeks in March. Will i be able to come back?
Will there be any problem coming back like being questioned by the officers ?
If not, then I don’t want to go?

it depends on if you have a valid visa or not, not your work permit.

Yeah i do have valid visa till may too.

then yes, you will be able to allowed back in based on the information available to me. make sure to let the CBSA officer know that you understand your wp and visa are expiring soon and you are planning to apply ASAP.
