hello guys, i applied by mail for TRV to visit my sick aunt in July 19th this year and for period of stay i filled in from August 22 to September 12 since i taught the processing time was gonna be respected and this was before the biometrics was a must.
However, since they started processing my application by 2nd of August, i was required by the new law to provide the biometrics, which i did and has been recently confirmed.
But this biometrics things, i mean (going to a closest VAC to have the biometrics, and correspondence of the biometrics fees receipt) have caused an unexpected long delay. In consequence, the period i said i would be staying in Canada has already passed though my application is still being processed.
My question is can i do sth about this? like contact the visa office and ask for a different period of stay or will they give me a different period of stay once my visa gets approved?
