Can I cancel my OINP paper based provincial nominee PR file as I have already received PPR in EE?

So, I applied for paper based process through OINP under the international student with a job offer category. So far, all I have received is the file number and linked the application to online account on CIC. This was in early March 2017. After that, I got an ITA under EE and I have already received my PPR. I have sent my passport to Ottawa office and yet to do landing. I have already paid my fees for RPRF and immigration upfront for both the files.

At this stage, is it safe to cancel my paper based application? If yes, can anybody guide, how to cancel the paper based application and try to get a refund?

Thanks. My timeline is in my signature for EE, For the paper process, I applied in maybe mid Feb 2017, got AOR toward the end of March 2017 and no updates whatsoever after that.
