Can I bring my wife on the Visitor visa??

Hi

I am PR holder. Recently got married in India. I know I have to apply for Sponsor PR for her but that takes 12 months processing and no wonder that process may take more time because of the covid situation.

Is there a way so that I can bring her on a visitor visa before I apply for sponsorship?

You can try but given you are married, officers will know that she is wanting to move permanently. She needs to show strong ties (property, income, investments, job) to India and a strong travel history. Since you were recently married (how long have you been together - years?), this is also a factor if you haven’t been together that long. Also processing is around 5 months for a visa and then she needs written authorization to travel. If the visitor visa is refused then you are back to applying for sponsorship. Easiest is spousal sponsorship.
