Hello guys,

I am now in Canada and would be able to apply for PR as soon as I get enough score on IELTS test. I also can be sponsored after 6 months.

Because I want to work as soon as possible, I prefer to be sponsored. This way, I can apply for a work permit, whereas applying PR through EE has at least 6 months wait, not including the time that I try to achieve the target English scores.

If I am lucky to be invited to apply through EE, can I apply for a sponsorship after submitting my PR application?

Thanks in advance.

Sponsored by whom ?

You're worrying for no reason. The pilot is almost certain to be extended again.
So even if I had submit my PR application through EE, could I still apply for sponsorship?
I mean, I would be able to be invited anytime before I am eligible to be sponsored. Should I just wait for sponsorship?

Spousal sponsorship takes way longer than Express Entry and has more stringent requirements . Go for EE.
That is the thing...because EE also takes at least 6 months to get PR. But if I applied for sponsorship, I could apply for a work permit at the same time, if the program still allows us to do so.
