Can I backdate my PR landing date to my entry as work VISA?

I arrived and landed in Canada as Work VISA under Federal Skilled Worker in 2016. I just gotten my PR approved in 2017, and understand to fully convert my immigration status I need to cross the border to have my landing as PR.

Can my PR landing date be back-dated to Jan 2016 when I arrived as Work VISA, instead of the date when I cross the border as PR, which could be March 2017?

Thank you!

Yeah, that's something I would really ask CBSA personnel to do.....commit fraud! I think that conversation would have an unpleasant ending. I can see the conversation now.......
PR: "Hi there, I'm here to land"
CBSA: "Welcome to Canada"
PR: Could you just back date that form to January last year please?"
CBSA: "This form?"
PR: "Yes please"
CBSA: "This legal document that the government references for all matters related to your PR?"
PR: "Please"
CBSA: "Is there any specific colour or size of hand cuffs you prefer?"

Not a good plan, to say the least.
