Can I apply PR alone, if my wife will join me late on open work permit?

Hi,


I am due to apply for PR in two months from now under CEC, my wife will arrive to Canada only after four months on my open work permit.

Can I apply for alone ?Since all my documents are in place to support CEC, will my PR application go thru without a glitch?

Both of us did work permit application separately from our home country.

No, when you apply for permanent residence, you must include your wife in the application. It doesn't matter if she is in Canada or not when you submit the application.

So does that mean I can proceed to apply with her name in application & docs even before she arrives? She has recently received open work permit.

For records , my application of work permit was done from India last year & hers was from Dubai, UAE, this year.
