Hi Guys
I am a current full-time student in Ontario Canada (Niagara College), my program is for one year and my study permit expires on November-30th 2020, I am eligible and will be applying for PGWP in August 2020.

I got married in May-2019, we have all the proofs of marriage (Pics, chats, certificates, conversations recent to 7 years old)
My Spouse is back in India and she planned earlier to apply for SOWP based on my study permit, but unfortunately COVID-19 situation arrived and the visa offices got closed, now she is waiting to apply for a SOWP, whenever the Lockdown gets over. But till then we may reach to a time where my study permit is close to expiry and I would be applying for PGWP too.

I hold a part time job NOC-B category which will be further Full-time when I end with my studies, My employer is ready to get me a Full time job offer letter with old and new payslips, which will support my PGWP.
I have 4 years of international experience from (United states, Australia, India, Canada), I am currently employed in Canada too.

I want to apply for PGWP and SOWP together so she can be here As soon as possible.. What can be done in such situation..??

Should I apply together or is it still okay to apply before my study permit expires..??

Help Needed.

Thanks

Yes you can apply together. There is no point in applying for SOWP while you are a student there isn’t enough time. Just apply for both SOWP and PGWP when you have proof of your graduation. I assume you have spent time in person over those 7 years although you mention you lived in the US for an extended amount of time. It is important to show the relationship and not just the marriage.

Yes I have been working internationally for past 4 years, and after my marriage i have lived in India for 9 months with her and my family, travelled a lot and came here in January 2020. We do have heaps of before and after marriage chats and pictures, since we dated for almost 7 years.

Hope the COVID-19 situation dissolves quicker so everyone stucked can be on their way.

Thanks. stay home stay safe
