Hi,

I am thinking about doing a course in Canada that will help me boost my resume. It's a 3 months course in Toronto. I checked IRCC and it says I need to apply for visitor visa instead of study visa for short courses. Should I apply? What proofs would I need to show the credibility of the intent?

P.S. I have also entered into the express entry pool.

Thanks

You need to show your own funds (cash in the bank), tuition paid, ability to support yourself for a short course, ties to return (spouse/children, job letter with approved leave) and strong travel history.

As mentioned the same for everyone else

Funds , ties you’ll return ( aka you won’t stay in Canada waiting to be invited for PR ) , travel history, employment in your home country.
Does it make sense money wise you’ll come here for three months ? How will it help you with your resume ? Why aren’t you doing this course or a similar course in your home country or a closer country ?

Is it a course specific for the Canadian labour market ?
If it’s a course specific for the Canadian labour market how will that help you in your country ?
