Can I apply for Study Permit even if I'm a Filipino currently studying in Australia?

I'd like to ask if anyone has similar experience of applying for SP for Canada,even if the applicant is not in his/her homecountry?

You can, however, you have prove strong ties to your home country.

Thus, application for SP outside of your home country would put an onus on the applicant to prove they're genuine and that they would leave Canada at the end of their authorized stay.
