Can I apply for spousal sponsorship for a province I intend to live in but yet to move to?

I’m the sponsor, I want to know if I can apply for spousal sponsorship under Ontario regulations while residing in Quebec? I’d apply in March and move to Ontario in August.

You need to apply under Quebec regulations and then process an address change once you move.

Would suggest delaying application until August. You will be under Quebec process until then so you will be going through CSQ, then be waiting in line for processing for Quebec and then have to wait for your file to be transferred. Applying from Quebec and then changing to Ontario will not likely save you much time versus applying when you move to Ontario.
