Can I apply for RAMQ now?

I am being sponsored by my wife for PR.

I have received IRCC AOR and CSQ approval and I live in Canada (under visitor status as visitor). Can I apply for RAMQ now? Or need to wait until I have received my PR card?

You need Approved in Principal letter (AIP) - usually sent after eligibility is complete. Or have a work permit and a job contract.
